Geocache Description:

[Sve] Gamla hoppbacken

Hoppbacken på Isaberg byggdes 1920 men det kan diskuteras hur pass riktig konstruktionen var. Ryktet om felkonstruktion kan ha berott på att ingen, såvitt vi vet, vågade prova att hoppa där. En yngling vid namn Helge Englund åkte dock utför backen på en hemmagjord kälke och slog sig halvt fördärvad. Var försiktig då det är en del lösa stenar i marken som är dolda.

Cachen är en 0,3 liters plastburk innehållande loggbok, penna och några bytessaker.

[Eng] The old ski-jump

The ski-jump on Isaberg was built in 1920 but it is uncertain if the construction was correct. The rumour of a faulty construction may depend on the fact, as we know, that no one dared to jump. A youngster by the name of Helge Englund did try the slope on a homemade sled and was heavily mangled. Be careful because there are some loose stones hidden in the ground.
