This cache is hidden in Kira Town, Hazu-gun, Aichi.

The golden dike is a dike made in the Edo era.
It is the dike which Kira Yoshihisa made in 1686.
Speaking of Yoshihisa Kira, I am famous for the villain of "chushingura", but am famous as "a benevolent lord" in local Kira Town.

The golden bank becomes the noted place of the cherry tree now.

このキャッシュは愛知県幡豆郡吉良町に隠されています。

黄金堤とは江戸時代に造られた堤防のことである。
この堤防は１６８６年に吉良上野介義央が造った堤防です。
吉良上野介義央と言えば「忠臣蔵」の悪役で有名ですが、地元の吉良町では「名君」として有名です。

現在、黄金堤は桜の名所となっています。
