There are some long stretches on the Backbone trail without a cache, but I could not believe this spot did not have one. So now it does.

Great views from here, and makes for a great place to take a break.

I'm really glad I wasn't moving too fast. Go out to the edge of those rocks and look down! What a sight to behold.

This is a nice little out-of-the-way spot. TFTC.

I had already moved past this one so I decided to pay a visit on the way back. No problem and nice spot. Too bad when I reached Snake City it was 1hr20min to sunset. I was not able to enjoy the place too much because I figured I should head back ASAP. I reached the main trail in Big Sycamore right after sunset, the bridge (Sycamore Troll) around 8:25ish and I got back to the car around 9PM. I was well equipped, so no worries.

This is my second time down the Chamberlain Trail. I never would have come to this viewpoint if this cache wasn't here - thanks Robb!

Starting at Newbury Park, the Outdoorsclub.org hike took the Western Ridge Trail for a very brief stop at Boney Summit, then on to Tripeaks for some exploring and lunch. From there we took the Chamberlain, Old Boney and Blue Canyon Trails back to Sycamore canyon and then up to the cars. TFTC!
