To win the Shell Game, you need to have good eyes and focused
concentration! One slip and you can lose it all! Are you ready?
Okay! Let's start playing!
What you see at the posted coordinates will help you find the
cache. Enjoy the panoramic view, explore the area a bit and then go
to work!!
You will see an object here with a two digit numerical
designation. Let these numbers be “X” and “Y” respectively. Look
upward and count the number of lights. Let this be “Z”
From this information:
A= X plus Y divided by Z
B= X minus A
C= Z plus B
The cache is located at:
N 21.BX.BZA W 157.CY.BCA
This is a very public area and it may be quite a challenge to
retrieve the cache without being noticed. It is not necessary to
climb over or on top of any objects. No bushwhacking! Please be
respectful of the area. The best time is early morning to mid
afternoon on weekdays when parking and privacy is plentiful. It may
be near impossible to find a parking spot nearby if there are any
events happening at the time.The cache is a small magnetic key
container with a logbook. You will need to bring your own pen. I've
added some cache souvenirs to the box, take one if you like. Don't
feel obliged to leave anything in return. Please replace the box
carefully so it won’t be seen by non-cachers. This is a micro size
cache! Travelling micro coins are welcome if they fit but please
don’t try to jam travel bugs into the container or leave travel
bugs in the surrounding area where they will definitely get either
dirty, wet or picked up as litter!
While in the area, you will see Kaneloa
Wetland, a two acre ecosystem that contains native Hawaiian
plants, fish and visiting sea birds. Water draining from the
surrounding area and the slopes of Diamond Head maintains this
marsh. Even in the hustle and bustle of busy Waikiki there is still
a place one can call wilderness. It is under restoration right now
and most of it is inaccessible but you will be able to get a peek
of it while you seek this cache! Aloha!
