Geocache Description:

Wedgwood neighborhood landmark

You are invited to visit a very large glacial boulder deposited in western Washington during the last ice age, approximately 12,000 years ago. This boulder is called the "Wedgwood Rock" - it is 19 feet tall and 75 feet in circumference. It has been a point of interest well before a neighborhood grew up around it. The Wedgwood Rock is just an arm’s reach from the street and the sidewalk. It is a community treasure so please maintain an attitude of respect during your visit. Confirm your visit by recording your geocache login name in the logbook found at the base of the “Rock” nearest to the street. The logbook is stored in a clear plastic tube with a blue cap. Please disguise the tube with some leaves to make it less conspicuous.
