Geocache Description:

The cache is a waterproof matchbox located just off the access road to the Beach Forch public shooting range. The area is only open from dawn to dusk.

The cache is small and only contains a log sheet so bring your own pencil. It is located less than 50 feet from the main access road to the shooting range. It is close to the main entrance of the road so you don't have to worry about wondering too close to the shooting range itself. I occasionally drive down to the range for practice and thought this would be a great location for a cache. The area is part of the Beach Fork Wilderness Management Area so there is plentiful wildlife. I've seen many deer and turkeys. In the winter the lake can be seen though the woods from the cache location. The cache is on a fisherman's path so rehide it well since I had no cammo tape on me when I placed it. Also, because of the tree cover my Etrex was only showing 40 ft accuracy and bouncing around a bit so the coordinates may be a bit off but I think with the hint this will be an easy find. Good luck! Be sure to stop in at the range if you are a sportsman or sportswoman!
