Geocache Description:

Lacrosse/soccer field and surrounding area

Another in a series of caches in recreation areas. This is a memorial field dedicated to two longtime supporters of athletes in town. Spring, summer, and autumn can be busy here so watch for muggles. In the fall there is plenty of soccer to watch and enjoy. In the spring there is women's lacrosse, a game definitely worth watching for its speed, grace, and athletic ability. An easy walk overall.The cache itself is a green metal ammo can. Contains log book, pens, pencil, and the usual cache items, all in a large zip-lock bag.
Despite my efforts to deter a travel bug thief, I'm asking cachers NOT TO LEAVE TRAVEL BUGS! Hopefully the thief will get discouraged and leave the cache alone.
Please use discretion while searching for and accessing the cache. There are many unsupervised children at the sporting events held here and they DO notice everything!
