SORRY IF THIS IS CONFUSING. THE FIRST PART IS STILL WHERE IT WAS BEFORE, JUST A FEW INCHES HIGHER AND DRYER. THIS CACHE IS BEING CHANGED TO A MULTI-CACHE. THE FIRST CONTAINER YOUR LOOKING FOR IS A SMALL PLASTIC TUPPERWARE SPICE CONTAINER/SHAKER WITH A BLUE LID. SMALL BUT LARGE ENOUGH FOR SMALL ITEMS. IT CONTAINS THE CORDS. FOR THE SECOND PART, 2 PENCILS AND PAPER SO YOU CAN WRITE THEM DOWN IF YOU WANT, PLEASE LEAVE A COPY IN THE CONTAINER. THE SECOND CONTAINER IS A 1GAL PICKLE JAR. THIS WILL HAVE THE REGULAR CONTENTS.
Enter trail at N44 16.696 W069 47.789 at intersection of middle street and Hallowell-Litchfield Road. (Or, for a shortcut requiring pure GPS navigation (without directions), enter at Halldale High School by tennis courts).
Take trail south by southwest, eventually following stream. You'll come to a large stone bridge -- a nice place to rest or picnic -- and halfway to the cache. Bear right at fork in trail after bridge, following it south by southwest. Make left at T. Take trail east and find a place to bushwhack to the cache. Can start bushwhack at N44 16.208 W069 48.093 You'll then be within minutes of the cache.
Cache was pretty badly abused during the last year but has been replaced with all kinds of goodies and a new box on JULY 4, 2005. Please take good care of it -- and please leave interesting or valuable items.
New cache container is a 1 gal plastic pickle jar. I stocked it with all kinds of good stuff. Enjoy.
