To log this cache you must have found a TRADITIONAL cache (one with a container) in which the cache was located at least one mile (5,280 feet) above sea level.
It does not matter when you found the cache, but it must not be archived at the time you claim this find. I will use the elevation displayed on Google Earth to make my determinations of elevation, if needed.
There are no caches in Maine which qualify. When you log, please list the Name, GC# and date you found your qualifying cache.
If you have traveled a bit you may be surprised to find you qualify. While driving East in Wyoming my wife and I pulled off a major highway for a park and grab and learned we had found a cache at 8,800 feet! Have fun and enjoy.
Congratulations to Marcipanek (Petr) for his first to find! His eligible cache was at 5,453 feet!
