Geocache Description:

This cache is simply a traditional cache; it once held a time-trial challenge for crashing about the bushland and timing your run. Alas that is no longer available, but this cache is still worth a visit, as you are bound to come across a huge mob of roos or two, and it's a pleasant yet close walk in the bush where you cabn pretend you are in the middle of nowhere!

The original text of this cache (for when the time trial is in action) is:

Here’s the general idea – you can either just do this one as a traditional cache, or you can take up the challenge that exists for those of us who wonder if we're quicker at spotting the booty than our fellow cachers. If you only do it as a traditional, it is about a difficulty 1, terrain 1.5. Otherwise...

The “timed-caches” are a set of co-ords and a code number written on a plastic transparent sheet. These are attached to Scribbly Gums only, and although they are hard to see, they are not further concealed: they are not on the ground, under rocks, in cavities etc. The GPSr readings are accurate to ±5m, so look around.

Step 1: Enter the new co-ords into your GPSr and re-hide the cache (just in case!).
Step 2: Start the stop-watch and GO!
Step 3: Note the new co-ords on the tag and the number reference at each new location.
Step 4: The last of these “timed-caches” will direct you “home” to the main cache.
Step 5: Stop the stop-watch.
Step 6: Record your time in the log book, along with making your general log entry and swaps.
Step 7: Email me the number code in the correct sequence to claim your time for infamy.

There are no prizes… merely the glory of bragging rights and the challenge of the hunt!

Please ensure that the stopwatch is not left running, and return it to its container.
