Chod: The hiding spot for this cache has fallen victim to grading modifications of the pocket park where Veterans Memorial is located so I'm going to close the cache down. "Thanks" to all who appreciated the meaning and purpose of this cache.

Geocache Description:

This cache has been created in Memory of my father, DALLAM P. ASHBURN and my wife's father, WILLIAM SCHLUETER who both honorably served in WWII.

On Armed Services Day, May 17, 2008 a dedication ceremony was held to open VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK in Lake St. Louis Mo. This fine memorial not only honors ALL veterans of ALL branches of service, but also provides a brief history lesson of the wars we have fought and the cost of those wars being measured in terms of service and sacrifice. Creating this cache made me more fully appreciate the sacrifices made by millions of veterans throughout our country’s history and I trust that in determining the final coordinates you too will be reminded of what their service has meant to our way of life.

The published coordinates will take you to the center of the memorial. From there you will be able to gather all the information necessary to determine the coordinates of the FINAL. These numbers sometimes run into the millions, so if your GPSr can't do "math" it might be advisable to bring a calculator. This park is open DAWN UNTIL DUSK.

To find the final, solve the following 5th grade math problems. Do not be tempted to "Google" any of the answers as statistics vary between sources.
