hkw0704: I went to Mt. TuKu this morning, yes, this cache is no longer here, a plastic outside bag in the cache site only, I think the muggles took it away, therefore, I decide to archive it, thanks for the past fun.

Geocache Description:

Only five "the 1st class trig points" in whole Taipei Area (Taipei City and Taipei County), they are:

1) Mt. CiShin: H1120m (GCR4E5)
2) Mt. ShiZaiTou: H857m (GCR9ZA)
3) Mt. CanGuangLiao: H739m
4) Mt. DaDong: H405m (GCRNYN)
5) Mt. TuKu: H389m (GCRTY5, This cache)

There are two benchmarks here, one is the first class trig point (also the first class satellite control point), the other one is the third class trig point No.1134. One pavilion on the peak, the cache is not far from the pavilion.

You can start your hunting from NanGang, Taipei City, or ShenKeng, Taipei County. I started from ShenKeng because its nearer to my home. It took me 4.5 hrs for a round trip, visit my detail log (Chinese only). However, maybe you can make a round trip in 1.5 to 2 hrs only if you just want to hunting in this cache.
