Regular cache in a beautiful northside Chicago park. Perfect for novice cachers. THE COORDINATES GIVEN HERE ARE NOT THE ACTUAL COORDINATES FOR THE CACHE!!

This cache was prompted by an NBC 5 Chicago news report about geocaching airing Friday May 11, 2007 on the 10 o'clock pm news. Genius Loci and I took the reporter out caching. We hope that this segment serves as a worthy introduction to the sport, and that it exposes the thrill of the hunt to many new cachers.
***The cache is not at the posted coordinates*** To find the actual coordinates, you must look up the 3-digit address of the NBC Tower in Chicago. Add that number to the end of both the N and W coordinates (e.g. 57.XXX plus the address) and you will have all you need to go hunt this one.
The cache is very straightforward, hidden in a park on the north side of Chicago. The container is a stainless steel airtight thermos. Inside is an NBC pen and pen case. Please feel free to use the pen to sign the log, but don't take it or the pen case, as they are integral parts of the cache.
