I've been looking for spots along the river to make some boating caches or paddling ones as I enjoy those types and I finally found this island to share them with you. The cache here is a smaller container that will hold small trackables or trade items.
If paddling out to the island be careful of the current but it is not that far from the shores out to this island. I'm hoping this location is above the flood level as it didn't seem to be alot of flotsam in the area, although there is a marshy area just to the east of the cache so be aware of that if coming from that side of the island.
Have fun and be careful as you explore the island!
This cache was placed for the 2012 Coulee Region Cachers Fall event held at Perrot State Park.
