Sorry about the demise of your cache. Perhaps you could consider placing a cache near a construction project close to my commuting route, that has been stalled for years? [:D]

WHO COULD BELIEVE IT! THIS WAS A FULL FLEDGED TWO LANE BRIDGE OVER RT11 THAT HAS STOOD HERE ABANDONED WITH 700 FEET OF ROAD ON EACH END LEADING INTO DENSE WOODS AND NOWHERE ELSE! IT HAS BEEN HERE FOR 30 YEARS BUILT IN 1975 FOR NOTHING AT ALL. A TRUE BOONDOGGLE! BUT SINCE WE DECIDED TO PLACE A VERY INTERESTING CACHE HERE, THEY HAVE DECIDED TO BUILD THE ROAD! WE HAVE PERMANENTLY DISABLED THIS CACHE AS NO TRESSPASSING SIGNS HAVE SPRUNG UP AT ALL BUT ONE ENTRANCE TO THIS AREA AND OUR PARKING AND TRAIL COORDINATES ARE POPULATED WITH BULLDOZERS AND FRONTLOADERS. VERY SORRY! THIS CACHE WILL BE MOVED TO A NEW LOCATION AND CALLED RED SANDS BLACK SANDS PING PONG.

JUST FOR INTEREST, IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT THIS LISTING, DRIVE ALONG RT 11 BETWEEN RT80 AND MAHONING AVENUE AND CHECK OUT THE BRIDGE MIDWAY - IT HAS LED TO NOTHING FOR 30 YEARS.... WONDER WHAT'S IN STORE FOR IT NOW???

Cross with the light (there are crossing buttons) and wend your way through or around (preferably around, it's not that hard) the mudholes to the main coordinates. Once you finally get over the surprise of exactly what you find there (please, no pictures or description in your logs here of the main coordinates - let followers be just as surprised as you will be), look north and south to find the coordinates of two caches. Though it may have been a little dicey getting here each of the two caches are about 1000 feet in different directions from your current position and equally easy to get to and find.

This is something we think is new. It's a PING PONG cache and here's the game:

In one or the other of these two caches will be a single ping pong ball. Choose which of the two caches you will visit first to see if that's the one where you will find the ball. It will be in one or the other, but nobody knows!

Now the rules:

If you FIRST visit the cache THAT CONTAINS the ping pong ball, log your find in the log book in that cache (it's how we keep score) then take the ping pong ball from this cache and deposit it in the OTHER cache. PING!

If you FIRST visit the cache WITHOUT the ping pong ball, you MUST visit the OTHER cache, retrieve the ping pong ball and return it to this cache! Do not log that you found the ball first (you didn't score) but please do log your visit. PONG!

From time to time, team Rattlebars will visit. We will swap the ball and log the winner plus put a special prize in the winning cache.

Take or leave any objects you wish like a regular cache, but please don't take the ping pong ball out of this game. Please don't describe or post photos of what you find at main coordinates and above all, don't leave ANOTHER ping pong ball (YIKES)! Thanks! We think this one will be fun. But hurry! Though this remarkable boondoggle has been here and well used for over thirty years who knows what's in store for the future.
