Let's all meet at the restored Ringgold Depot to have a good old fashioned meet & greet. Gather around at 8:30 am to enjoy some donuts, see and meet other cachers. We'll try to get a group photo at 8:45 am.
Bring your bike or good walking shoes if you plan to take a trip down the Danville Richmond Rail Trail after the event. The trail here is a small part of the Tobacco Heritage Trail located in Pittsylvania County, but also has sections along the former railroad line in many areas to the east of here. You'll travel along a nice gravel path with pretty views and significant historical structures. Drinking water is strongly advised since the trail is quite long. Three parking and trailhead waypoints are listed below to aid travelers.
