Geocache Description:

This is an easy hike in North Cheyenne Canyon about half on a dirt road and half on a single track trail.

Are you a poet? ...a painter? ...a musician? ...a potter? Maybe you're one of those folks who can make an origami bird out of a dollar bill, or you have a knack for taking good photos. Everybody out there is good at making something right?

Well, as it's name implies, this geocache is meant to encourage your creative side. I asked my family and friends to share some of their talents to get this cache started, and now it's time for you to share yours. So please feel free to take an item and leave something that you made. It can be anything as long as it's your very own creation. So break out those knitting needles or that camera or those crayons!

This is definitely a family hike. You can get very close on a popular hiking trail. The distance is about 1.15 miles from obvious parking at N 38° 47.431 W 104° 54.228 to the cache with an elevation gain of about 290 feet. The last 50 feet or so is a little bit steep but doesn't require any hand-climbing. Very small kids might need a hand to hold on to for this part.

You'll be looking for a rainbow-colored ammo box with "Look What I Made!" painted on the side. It's hidden from plain site, so look around, and be sure to re-hide it when you're done. The original contents of this geocache were as follows:

- 2 Compact Disks of original children's music recorded by me
- 2 pair of beaded socks for little girls made by my wife
- 2 small pieces of pottery made by my sister-in-law
- A wooden pencil case made by my Dad
- A pair of button socks made by a friend of ours
- A small string of beads made by my niece
- A handmade envelope (with instructions for making more) made by my sister
- A recipe of my Mom's
- Photographic greeting cards made by my brother-in-law
- Travel Bug #302725
- Disposable camera, log book, pens, zip-lock bags etc.

Enjoy!
