Geocache Description:

Ahoy there matey’s, I hear yer lookin for a pirate adventure!!! So come on board and set sail with the pirates of the Menomineean. This cache is part of a series.

Some time ago a pirate crew got marooned in Menomine where they quickly became known as the Pirates of the Menomineean.  While they were here there was a mutiny aboard. The captain feared the black spot, so he left the ship and hid all of the loot on shore in hopes of someday returning to reclaim his bounty. Rumor is the captain and his new crew returned for the loot. Can you beat the captain to it, or will you see the jolly rodger? The captain hid the treasure in piece o’ eight and one more being the final. Good lucky Matey’s!!

Looks like the captain got a little hung up in his hurry to the treasure. He left something very personal behind.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to John Hoff of the Wisconsin DNR.
