Geocache Description:

Find a flatiron building and document it with a log here!

Sometimes streets intersect at other than right angles. When this happens, architects may be forced to make buildings with other than right angle walls. Most of us have seen the famous Flatiron Building at 5th and Broadway in New York City with its pie-shaped floorplan but I recently found a flatiron-style building in my own neighborhood -- and maybe you can too.

A flatiron-style building has one set of corners that almost come to a point.

Your assignment is to find a flatiron building and log it here according to the following rules. Your log must include (1) the name and location of the building, (2) the coordinates of the building, (3) at least one photo showing the flatiron features with your GPS (and you too if possible) in the picture, and (4) any other interesting information about the building (dates, present occupants, etc.)

The standard rules apply. Take new pictures for this cache (no recycled vacation photos), a building may only be logged once, and each geocacher may only log this cache one time.

Have fun!
