In McGill park there is a family of wooden nesting dolls, much
like the Russian nesting doll collector items. THE WOODEN
NESTING DOLLS ARE NOT TRADE ITEMS!!! The family is
dispersed throughout the park each in their own weather-proof
container. Each container has trinkets that correspond to the
family member inside. Don't forget to look inside the dolls. The
boy likes small games and 4-H. The girl likes tap dancing and is
trained as a lifeguard. The mom has rings, necklaces, and a home
security flashlight. The dad is a fan of the Blues Brothers, NASA
and cars. These "hobbies" do not need to remain the
same. Feel free to trade items in any of the caches.
Please try to keep the trade items so they match the family member.
i.e. don't leave girls items in the boys' caches.
The coordinates given will lead you to a "trail-head" in McGill
Park. With your flashlight beaming, search for the "bread crumbs"
to lead you to stage one of the multi-cache. Each stage will lead
you to more "bread crumbs". The bread crumbs are not as visible in
the daylight. So don't waste your time and show up when the sun is
up. Make sure to look closely at the "crumbs". Arrows will give
directional hints. If you see a star you are within 5 feet of the
cache.
The caches are located off trail. Once you find each stage
return to the nearest main trail and continue South to get back on
track for the next find. There are four stages and the final is the
"dad" and has a log book.
Now here's the tricky part...and it's up to you to play fair.
For those who cheat, may Signal place a geo-curse on you!!
There is a First To Find prize in EACH stage. BUT you can ONLY
claim ONE prize. You may not get any prize,
depending on your choices.
Here are the rules:
- FTF prizes are in their own baggie and clearly marked.
- If you claim a prize, you can NOT claim any other prize, no
matter what you find. Once you've claimed a prize, you're stuck
with it.
- Once you've completed a stage and move to the next, you can
NOT go backwards to claim a prize that you passed
up in an earlier stage.
- Never re-visit a cache to claim a prize, if you get to the 4th
stage and the prize has been claimed, you are out of luck.
- Do not move prizes from stage to stage.
- There are instructions posted in each cache to keep things
simple while on the trail and to keep you honest.
