Geocache Description:

This cache is to celebrate the 1000th find milestone for KC9GBO.

This cache is located in Rullands Coulee Creek, in the southwest corner of Monroe county. I happened upon this place awhile ago and thought it needed a cache, and when I was scouting the area I found the perfect spot for a milestone silver ammo can. This spot is right between 2 SNA areas, and is a nice hike.

When I placed this, the brush, weeds and overgrowth were over my head by a foot in spots, other times of the year the terrian should be easier. The canopy and the terrain may give your gps some bounce issues, you should clearly be able to see the creek from the cache location and is within a stones throw of the creek itself.

Parking coordinates are given, they are located infront of the DNR sign that says the area's name. These are the ONLY legal parking spots for this area.

Please note the terrain for this cache, you will be bushwacking, doing a water crossing and walking up a hill with no trail. The land on the other side of the bridge you might see and think you can cross the stream is private property, do not trespass. There is also very well marked private property within a mile on each side of this cache, it is well marked with signs, please obey them.

The Geocache Notification form has been submitted to the La Crosse Wisconsin DNR Service Center. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resouce managed lands require permission by means of a notification form.
