Located along a nature trail at the Nature Center in Kensington Metro Park
We placed this cache in honor of Dad's 36th Birthday. We where at the park celebrating when we placed the cache.
The kids and I love this trail and walk it from start to finish at least once a year. The first time I took the kids on this trail they where much younger and needed motivation to walk the whole thing with me. We took along camara's, magnifying glasses, bug boxes, tweezers, binoculars, and other things to explore with. We also took a picnic lunch and stopped at a great picnic site half way through. Now each year the kids look forward to packing up our backpacks and cooler and heading out to explore.
The day we placed the cache we saw a wild turkey and its babies, baby ducks, turtles, cranes, slugs, birds, deer, and so many other forms of wild life.
I love this park and this sport. So go out find our cache and grab a magnifying glass and see what you can see!!!
