Geocache Description:

An adventure in Osceola National Forest
September 18th - 9:30AM

Due to hurricane created conditions (flooding, fallen trees and closed campground) We have been forced to truncate this event. There will be no camping and it is BYOF (that would be food). Those wishing to gather for some group caching and a few fun activities in Osceola National Forest are urged to attend. Please repost if you plan to attend.

Event Activities

Best Caching Story Competion
Demonstration of Maping software by Paintficition
Collection of Items for cache to be hidden

There will also be an Event Only Cache that all attendees will need to find and sign in order to claim their smiley for the event.

We have recently lost one of our own. We will be taking up a collection for flowers or other appropriate memorium.

---------------------------------

Due to conditions, there may be some accesability issues on some, if not many, of the caches, so a 4WD vehicle may come in handy, but many, if not all caches should be accessable with 2WD.

We will be meeting at "The Depot" near Ocean Pond. The page has been updated to reflect the new location.

-----------------------------

We will be adding information as the event approaches, so please watch this page regurlarly
