This is just before the last switchback at the top of Jack's Cruel Joke as you are coming off Sunbeam, or as suggested in another log, you can come straight across Hermit Placer trail. If you are a mountain newby, you will get a little out of breath, but this is an otherwise fairly easy hike, just watch out for mountain bikers, and the title is a nice clue.
