Geocache Description:

The first in a series of Puzzle Caches using various ciphers to
encode the cache coordinates

Welcome to the first in a series of 7 puzzle caches leading up to a
final cache. Be sure to collect the letter in each cache, as you
will need them for the final.

Remember when you were a kid? Remember writing notes in school, and hoping you wouldn't get caught - or at least you wouldn't be the one holding the note when the teacher noticed?

Well, if you were one of those kids who was always trying to find a way to write a secret code, then this series is for you. The series will start out easy with a basic cipher for you to decode, and then move on to more sophisticated methods of encoding. Figuring out how to decode each cipher is up to you!
