Roz sur Couesnon, en breton, le nom est traduit en Roz-an-Arvor Situé au nord du département, le village se trouve au cœur de la baie du mont Saint-Michel. Le Couesnon ne passe plus par le village, la poldérisation a eu effet de canaliser le fleuve vers le mont Saint-Michel.
Eglise de Roz. Outre la nef datée de 1888, l'église actuelle est de construction récente. Le nouveau clocher est achevé en 1953, mais un incendie détruit le chœur et les deux chapelles. La reconstruction du chœur, du transept et de la sacristie est entreprise entre 1954 et 1956.
