Grab My Stick Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

seldom|seen: Well, after being inactive for a very long time and contemplating whether or not I should try to re-work this hide, I simply cannot stomach the idea of doing so in the area where this one was.

The slash and burn approach to clearing the land here has left me sore and I will not be bringing anyone out there any time soon for caching.

This means the Seeker will need a new home and consequently, some updated assisters when that new home is found.

Geocache Description:

You'll need it for this cache. Once you acquire the Seldom Seeker, you will have what you need to determine the first waypoint coordinates. You must log the grab of the Seldom Seeker before poceeding with the cache find. When you get to waypoint one, you will use the same technique you used to get the initial coordinates to determine the coordinates for the final.

When you get to the final you will need to use one of the accouterments of the Seldom Seeker to retrieve the cache. Please be very carefull with this piece of equipement and note that you may need to remove the boot protecting it.

This cache is dedicated to Team Hemisphere Dancer who created the Seldom Seeker and creates many other fine walking sticks. This is an opportunity for you to see and use one for yourself for a time and appreciate his handiwork. Be advised, Hemi does like to walk.

The Seldom Seeker has been slightly enhanced and care should be taken not to overuse the many attachments it wields so that others may enjoy it for a long time to come. In particular, if you use the switch, nudge it gently up to "ON" and gently down again. The Seldom Seeker cannot reside in any cache but must be grabbed by one cacher from another cacher on the trail.
