The 10K Moth Attack was named this due to the large number of Moths
and its location. They flew out from everywhere. It's just a season
of many Moths, and even with that the hike is a pleasant one and we
think the search will be too. The cache is located .45 miles from
the 10K trail parking area, which has a $3 fee, (Someone has to pay
for these forests). and is in a 3"dia X ~14" PVC pipe.

October 17, 2009 by budabeli (4169 found) Parked at xxx.614, yyy.498 and followed the power line trail until we were within 0.1 mi (or closer) of the cache. GPSr was really not doing a very good job back here and got worse as we went to the other nearby caches. Spotted something interesting and voila, there was the cache (the the GPSr said 20 ft, like it was being some help telling us this after the fact). Cache contents still damp; we took some of the geotrash that may have been gumming this one up (this type of container should keep things dry). Nice hike/hide. TFTC!

August 30, 2009 by sandiaalamo (47 found) Nice Hike! 1st of three for the day. This one was slightly soggy, as if the recent rains had seeped in. TFTC.

August 1, 2009 by BikeNHiker (201 found) Last of six caches found today on an 8 mile hike. I spent some time poking around for it without any luck. Jackson, wondering what was taking me so long, came back and found it right away. The contents were a little damp. Thanks for the hide.
