Prison City Puzzler Multi-cache
Sapience Trek: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

This is an all season multi-cache located in Auburn, NY. There are 3 sites...with a cache box located at the third site.
The posted coordinates will take you to:
Site 1 - where you will get the information necessary to calculate the coordinates for the second site. (CAUTION - Take only pen and paper to this site...seems a lot of electronic gadgets and cameras make staff wary of what you are up to here!)
Site 2 will provide you with the information you will need to calculate the coordinates to Site 3.
At site 3 you will find a plastic container with a special prize for those who solve the puzzle.
Have fun solving this puzzler! (A calculator might come in handy on this one.)
INSTRUCTIONS
Site 1: Subtract 1707 from the "FIRST PRISONERS" date.
Then - Subtract this amount from the decimal portion of
the posted Latitude.
Subtract 1600 from the "FIRST ELECTROCUTION IN
THE WORLD" date.
Then - Subtract this amount from the posted Longitude.
Site 2: Subtract this person's age plus 9
(With a zero in tenths place) at the time of his
death from the decimal portion of the POSTED Lat
Subtract the year he began his SECOND term on the
Board of Education from the year he became Mayor.
Add this amount (with a zero in the tenths place)
to the decimal portion of the posted Longitude .
Site 3: Take a souvenir - sign the log. No exchange
necessary!
(If final coordinates do not lead you back near the Prison, you have miscalculated...and you need to check your math again! Good Luck.)
