To be
able to find the GPPT Final cache, you have to gather clues!
You will find those clues in 10 caches in 10 different Parks in
Göteborg!
You must be aware of,
that most caches included in this mystery cache, are a challenge to
take, not to reveal them, because of the fact that they are placed
in very public locations!
The cache is in a 0,8
litre white/transparent plastic food container
and had the following content from start:
- Log book
- Pencil
- A picture of my Smashing GeoCaching Dogs (SGCD)
(NB, not a trading object! If
you want a picture of the SGCD send me an e-mail and I will send
you a picture!)
- One white
paper slip, with facts about the
location
- One Guzzini
Nutcracker
- One 16 mm Combination
Spanner
- One box with
10 pcs of spade
terminals
A special
bonus for the FTF is a small bottle of Anders
Sälöbäsk 2002!
I created this
mystery cache, Göteborg Park Picnic Tour, to let you
experience why Göteborg is named
"the City of Parks"!
In this mystery cache
I intentionally left out some of the most famous Parks, for
instance Slottsskogen and Hisingsparken, because I want to let you
experience some less known Parks and their surroundings. Besides
that, there are already caches present in those parks
mentioned.
There are more than
forty (40) officially named parks and as many which not yet have
been "baptized" to an official name.
Following caches are
parts of the Göteborg Park Picnic Tour (GPPT):
-
GPPT #01, The Countryside Park
(Gavia #15)
-
GPPT #02, The Pharmacist’s
Park (Gavia #16)
-
GPPT #03, The Glen (Gavia
#17)
-
GPPT #04, The Water Lily Pond
(Gavia #18)
-
GPPT #05, The Sculptor’s Park
(Gavia #19)
-
GPPT #06, The County
Governor’s Park (Gavia #20)
-
GPPT #07, The Almost Historic Park
(Gavia #21)
-
GPPT #08, The Organ Builder’s
Park (Gavia #22)
-
GPPT #09, The Ruin (Gavia
#23)
-
GPPT #10, The Meadow Islet Park
(Gavia #24)
The names of the
different caches are not the real name of the Park, but it
“reflects” the real name in some way. You will find out
how, when you visit respective cache.
Though I don’t
want to reveal, in advance, which park you must visit, I
have, in each and every one of the caches, put a white note with
the real name of the park and some background facts. Take your time
to read them, they are very short!
In those ten caches
you will also find a green paper slip, with a coordinate figure
and a clue (Please, don’t remove
the clue!) which are necessary to write down if you want to
find the GPPT Final!
Remember to bring
your picnic basket, especially if the weather is good, because, as
I say in the name, there is, more or less, a good opportunity to
have a Picnic in each one of those Parks.
I wish you many pleasant hours in our beautiful
Parks!
If you want to
learn more about parks, bathing, recreation areas and nature in
Göteborg, you must visit
Naturen i
Göteborg (just in Swedish, but helpful
anyway).
Denna multicache
är skapad för att du skall få lära känna
flera av våra parker. Några har du förmodligen
aldrig ens hört talas om! I respektive parkcache finns en vit
papperslapp med parkens riktiga namn och lite fakta om
parken.
I de tio cacherna
finner du också en grön papperslapp, med en
koordinatsiffra och en ledtråd som du behöver notera
för att kunna hitta GPPT Final!
Jag
önskar Dig många trevliga timmar i våra vackra
Parker!
