By Erik Wood
The Neah Bay is a Coast Guard cutter.
The boat is140 foot in length and has the ice breaking capability of 18 to 20 inches.
It is powered by 2 Fairbanks diesel engines. This boat can be seen in summer months doing law enforcement on the Detroit River for the Freedom Festival.
