You are looking for a medium Lock and Lock container with the
Geocaching Logo some trade Items. This trail is Paved, then Gravel,
then Dirt. Not a hard hike and could be completed in less than 20
minutes.
This cache is placed in the Cookeville City Lake Park with
permission from the Director of Leisure Services. This park is a
favorite of locals who come here to spend a lazy afternoon fishing
the lake or picnicing. The lake was a water source for Cookeville
but has since been decommissioned. On the hike you may see some of
the old system and the old pump house. The trail to follow is the
Norma Michell Trail and is paved most of the way to the cache. Once
the cache is found be sure to walk the few hundred feet down the
trail to the waterfalls and enjoy the serenity of this area. This
whole area could use a little CITO love. Let's show them how we
cleanup our playground... Please
follow the Geocachers
Creed
Congratulations Dr. Dan on another First-to-Find.
