Sar-Ko-Par: Charlie's Angel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Zaphod & Marvin: Zaphod and I hate to have to do this but replacing this container every month has gotten old. This was a great spot for this cache but it just has too much muggle traffic and it's time for us to archive it. All is not lost though. Because this cache has had such great reviews, we plan to resurrect it at a new location (one with fewer muggles) and give it a new name. Stay tuned.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park. Sar-Ko-Par is a wonderful park with many amenities including a swimming pool, 2 acre lake, sand volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts, picnic shelters, playground areas, community garden, and walking trails. It’s home to the Legler Barn and Historical Museum, railroad caboose, and restored railroad museum and Strang Line waiting station. Each year the park hosts the Great Lenexa Barbeque Battle. Nearly 200 contestants compete for the title of Kansas State Champion. While you’re visiting the park geocaching, be sure to check out all the things to see and do.

This series of 4 (now 3) caches was hidden in conjunction with the 8th annual Kansas City Geocachers Picnic held August 23rd 2008.

Charlie’s Angel is a log only cache so you’ll need your own pen. You might also need your thinking cap. You get an extra pat on the back for understanding the corny name. There’s no need for any digging or rummaging through foliage to retrieve the cache. Be on the alert for prying eyes.

Special Note: Once you zero in on what you believe to be the cache hiding spot, there is no need to deconstruct anything. Just use common sense and do what comes naturally. The cache will reveal itself.

Thanks to Lenexa Parks and Recreation for approving these cache placements.

Enjoy!
