Maine is blessed with so many unique and wonderful places. When I first moved here, I found a great map and gazetteer that pointed out many astounding natural wonders. I still remember thinking how much that little book of maps would cost, but couldn’t resist knowing all those back roads, fishing spots and hiking trails.
Geocaching and Geocachers have pointed the way to literally thousands of interesting places, right here in Maine. I wouldn’t be surprised if you have learned as much from the experience as most of those who’ve earned and Associates Degree. After you find the cache, take a few minutes (not more than 10), to think about all the places you have been and wonders you have seen.
