A series of caches placed on the walking track along the beautiful Murrumbidgee River between Kambah Pool and the Cotter. This series is ideal for those wanting to push beyond the urban walks and challenge themselves before heading out for more hard-core caches.
I didn't want to finish this walk with a cache in my bag, but pushing towards the end of the walk I was starting to get too close to an existing cache. So when this spot showed a likely hiding place with few other redeeming features I decided to divest myself of a cache container and a puzzle idea that has been bubbling in my mind for a while. So you could say this cache is unnecessary.
But I suppose I am not alone. I myself have found unnecessary caches in Russell, Acton, Stirling, Aranda, Higgins, Isaacs, Hall and Pialligo. I also have it on good authority that unnecessary caches can also be found in Hume, Hackett, Forrest, Gilmore, Melba, Lyons and Mawson.
You can check your answers for this puzzle on Geochecker.com.
Thanks to mtbikeroz for accompanying me on the walk to lay these caches
First to find honours goes to Tankengine (one week later)
