The Friday Caching Crew was working new territory today - our first time on this trail. This was one of many caches we found on a ten mile hike, ending in O'Melveny Park. A small slide buried the cache. WE poked around for awhile and were on the verge of giving up when I spotted a tiny piece of the corner of the container sticking out of the dirt. We re-hide it a short distance away. Thanks for the hide. TNLNSL.

I got there first and saw the landslide. I poked around with my hiking pole and waited for Big Foot Moose to come up. On one of our earlier (in the year) outings we came upon a bigger slide than this and somehow Big Foot Moose dug the buried cache up. But not this time. It was TOHiker who spotted the corner of the container at a higher level than I figured for the cache. In any case it was rescued. Thanks for the cache and thank you TOHiker.

All of us gave it a good shot at digging through the rubble left by the landslide. Actually I think it was TOHiker who spotted the corner of the decon sticking out of the ground. TFTH

This cache was a victim of a small slide. After much searching, and almost giving up, BFM found the cache buried. We moved the container about 20 feet west to a spot where the hint still works. Here's the new coords: N 34 18.752 W 118 31.488. Thanks
