Geocache Description:

Just a little cache to get you to one of two parking spots for the Carveacre Windcaves to Gaskill Peak trail. Before setting out to find this cache, block out several hours of your day for the adventure, charge up the batteries in your camera, and prepare for an experience many people wouldn't get unless they visit a National Park.

A little sampling of the amazing views along the trail

Access to the trailhead for this amazing hike along a riding and hiking trail that goes all the way from " Arachnophobes Not Invited" to " Chevy No-Va" is from Carveacre Road, a well-maintained, graded road which winds south off Japatul Valley Road southeast of Alpine.

Once you are on Carveacre road follow it to Gaskill Peak Road and then turn onto Lost Trail, a single-lane road. The parking spot is just large enough for two vehicles.

From here, the elusive trail can be difficult to follow, however if you walk towards N 32° 45.276 W 116° 42.514 to the southwest, over all the chipped and regrowing brush, you will find an odd, and sometimes-funny dirt track that eventually leads you to the well-established trail. The main trail continues near N 32° 45.209 W 116° 42.511. From there, head to " Ouch, That Musta Hurt."

You are looking for an Altoids tin.
