To reach the cache you'll start in the Lower car park in Glendalough and if you go via Poll an Easa you'll ascend about 1200 steps before you reach the site.
The cache is under an rock in a lunch box with a green lid. It originally contained a pencil, pencil parer, 3 refresher towels' one Swedish Kroner a toy lizard, a toy bear stamper, a maze puzzle, a Bart Simpson watch, and a 1000 lire note. Please write a note of your visit in the notebook and log your visit in the Geocaching site. Please do not disturb the deer!! DO NOT LOOK FOR THE CACHE ON THE LAKE SIDE OF THE PATH. THERE ARE CLIFFS HERE AND IT IS VERY DANGEROUS. Please do not litter and bring any rubbish you see home.When walking this route you are in mountainous terrain. Make sure you bring the usual supplies and wet gear just in case the weather turns. Glendalough is on OS Map #56. Enjoy the walk, and be careful!
