That's one singed can. New log is doing fine. Cheers.

I found the log in a bag in an inch of rusty water, but doing quite well. Always cool to find an ammo can. Thanks EMC!

This is a great mtn bike ride up the canyon. A few burned trees are across the trail here and there and the wind really kicked up once in a while. I didn't see any cows, but I did see the evidence. It was wonderful. Happy to have clean replacement logs to sign. TFTC.

Quite a different walk now, after the fires. There are a few spots with downed trees across the trail but MamaMia and I forged ahead with our Belgian Malinois Pepper at our side.
The springtime flowers in Devil’s Canyon (and all the surrounding burn areas) are going to be spectacular! I saw Tiger Lilies in this canyon during the spring of 2004: who knows what might turn up this spring.
Thanks Elin. Happy caching!
