Geocache Description:

Starts at 2pm and finishes at around 3.30pm.

A free event to be held for the benefit of Geocachers who would like to identify common tree species to help them locate caches quickly and efficiently.

Drive into the Spier's parklands through the double gates off Barrmill Road and park in the designated area.

Bring suitable clothing for the weather and stout shoes/boots. No toilets on site or food outlets. Beith is 2 mins away.

The North Ayrshire Council Ranger (Rosserllwyd) will lead you on a tour of the grounds and arboretum to show you the common tree species as well as what characteristics to look for when identifying trees and shrubs.
