Geocache Description:

A very easy walk to one of our favorite shady spots in Sierra Madre's foothills.

Start at Baily Canyon Park. Head West through trees to turnstile in fence leading to paved road. Take it from there!

The Pod 1 cache is filled with aliens! Small aliens, big aliens, alien robots, and alien pocket pets! Sierra Madre is where "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" was filmed so it was high time for an alien-only cache. If you can, please bring a small creepy creature to leave behind. Small is important though since this cache is pretty small. Not a micro by any means, but the tupperware container couldn't hold something too large (few inches in height is fine). We put this cache in one of our favorite, easy-to-get-to spots in the foothills. Great place to relax in the shade during a hot day. About half mile from parking lot.
