All Around Northwood Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

The Northwood Goonies: Time for this one to retire, and open up the town for a bunch of new caches in Northwood. Give a little time as they are out there but I am waiting to have them all released at the same time so you won't have to make a return trip back to town. Thanks to all of you that have found my multi cache!!

Geocache Description:

This cache was created by myself and my nephew. All math is simple math and can be done with a calculator. To get to the final cache, the route will take you through town to some important and historic places in Northwood. Each place will give you information on a sign or object to help you get the next set of coordinates that will get you near the next sign and so on.

The first set of coordinates will take you to a Iowa Historic Site, the former Worth County Courthouse. To the right of the door is a sign that tells you when it was built.

Use this number and subtract it from 1976.
The first # is A. The Second # is B.
N 43' 26.A15
W 093' 13.B71

To get the next locations coordinates count the letters in the last name on the big tomb. This # is C.
N 43' 26.8C3
W 093' 12.854

On the north side of the horse stables is a year it was built.
Add 4626 to this #. This # is DEFG.

Also from the year divide it by 399. This # is H.

Subtract the year from 2010. This # is TU.

N 43' RS.565
W 093' 13.4TU

There is a date on a stone that the park was named and dedicated. Use the 2 numbers that are what year the park was named. Subtract this number from 667. This number will be YZ!Add the number to 16. This number will be XX.

N 43' 26.YZ!
W 093' 13.5XX

This last coordinate will take you to the final cache.

The cache contains the following:
Log book and soem swag.
