This family-friendly cache is a decon container located approximately 10-15’ off the Hoover Nature Trail in rural Johnson County. The cache is accessible throughout the year. During the summer months you may have to navigate a variety of prickly underbrush.
While Finance Guy was placing this cache, Scout and the Lego Kids were further down the trail hunting blackberries. In mid-summer, the Hoover trail is loaded with mulberries and wild blackberries.
Although the cache is accessible via a pleasant walk from Cedar Johnson Road or the Oasis trailhead, the Lego Crew encourages cachers to bring along their bikes and enjoy riding the length of the trail. A peaceful out-and-back ride from the West Branch trailhead to Oasis is just a little over 7.0 miles roundtrip.
The cache has room for small tradeable items, travel bugs, and geocoins. Hunt this cache at your own risk, and most importantly, have fun!
