You work out of an office at home, but you still want to fly
with the eagles. Renew your energy and attitude by walking through
deep forest, trading some office supplies ... and perhaps spotting
an eagle!
Bring some office supplies to trade out of this large ammo
box, and please log your trades.
If you've got the time, make this adventure a two-mile round-trip
walk in the woods by parking at historic Ft. Nisqually. If
you need to keep your walk short, park at the zoo.
The most difficult part of finding this geocache is hitting upon
the right one of various criss-crossing but well-maintained trails.
Also, because the woods are deep, you may have difficulty getting a
good reading on your gps receiver. I suggest bringing a compass
along just to help keep your bearings. However, the cache itself is
easy to find, just off a nice trail. You'll know you're in the
right vicinity when you see a dramatic snag (see photo
below), the kind that eagles like to perch on.
