Geocache Description:

Cache stages are all near trails in the Richard T. Anderson Conservation Area

The trails up to this summit are quite steep. The view at the top is worth the trip, as you can see for miles. In winter this can be quite slippery or icy, so be careful. Currently the trail is being improved.

At the first stage you find a sign. Using some information from the sign, you can compute the second stage coordinates from the first stage coordinates. The Battle of Shakopee occurred between two lakes. Use the names of the two lakes, to get the next stage coordinates. Convert each name to a number by adding up the values of the letters in each name. Each letter value is it's position in the alphabet. (A=1, B=2, ....) Use the smallest lake name plus 4 to add to the North coordinate. Use the other lake name minus 8 to add to the West coordinate.

Park hours are 6 AM to 10 PM daily. Please stay on the trails in this conservation area, don't bushwack. Cache is within 25 feet of the trail.

Cache has been approved by the City of Eden Prairie.
