Fish Eagle: Sadly, this cache has been compromised, possibly by a careless cacher? It was found intact, lying wide open on the bench at the viewpoint, and the logbook contains 4 very nice log entries by non-geocachers - weird!! Anyway, the cache is now at Timbavati Safari Lodge, where it will probably be rehidden, and listed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden in the central Kruger Park, between Orpen Gate and Satara Camp, at the Bobbejaankrantz viewpoint.

You are permitted out of your vehicle at the viewpoint, but the area is unprotected, and shows signs of large visitors - so have a good look around that there are no nasties lurking before approaching the cache location. You really don't want to be on the menu!!

The cache is actually in a very safe location, but please be careful of snakes when retrieving and replacing it.

The cache is a 1 Lt Lock 'n Lock container, in a waterproof camo bag.
