Sunrise Sunset in Verona Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

Rootsdigger: Well, I checked on the cache- and it has gone MIA. [:(!] I think this was too easy for the local kids to find. I will replace it but it will take a few weeks because I need to find time to carve a new stamp.
I am really bummed about loosing this one! [:(]

Geocache Description:

This is a letterbox hybrid in a med. size rubbermaid container. There is a small kids playground nearby. The coordinates are for the park itself. The letterbox description can be found here: http://www.letterboxing.org/BoxView.asp?boxnum=7850&boxname=Sunrise_Sunset_in_Verona

This cache is to replace In Fair Verona. That cache was stolen by some local kids. So this is in a new location with a letterbox inside it!

Original contents of cache: 2 Jax Postcards, Pirate Raider CD Demo, Playschool toy, Subway baby toy, spykids toy, Music CD, Bookcrossing book, pony tail holders (new), emory board, seven dwarf toy, blues clues pencil, bell

Please try to replace as you found.

From the cache coordinates:

Begin the journey at the Verona Park sign. Nearby you will find a tribute to Jo Ann Meehan. Sit for awhile at her bench and enjoy the trees.

From her bench find two large trees that meet at the bottom. Closeby there will be a drainage ditch that runs along the park. Follow the ditch towards the next park bench.

From that bench continue along the ditch until you see a concrete barrier. Once you get to the barrier look around. You will find a tree that looks like many many small trees together. Inside you will find what you seek.

Please bring your own stamp pad if you want to do the letterbox part. The letterbox stamp is in the plastic bag inside a small green tupperware container. There is two log books- the one inside the small green container is for the letterbox stamps only. The larger one is for all geocachers who find.
