Geocache Description:

The title is a reference to an Edgar Allan Poe story, The Purloined Letter. If you haven’t read this story you might want to before you hunt for this cache since the title is a clue to finding this cache

If you don’t find the cache right off You might need to use the clue. After all Dr. Watson needed Holmes to explain how he solved his mysteries. This is not a required trade cache, but if you decide to trade bring an interesting/collectable coin. They are the only acceptable trade items. The first to find item in this cache is a 1942 brilliant uncirculated Mercury dime. This is not a required trade item as it is the first finder item. There is also a logbook in this cache, but you will need to bring your own writing tool. This cache is in the front/side yard of my house, so it is ok to search there. This cache will not require you to climb the fence or anything else that would get you in trouble with the boss. If you get real desperate knock on the door and see if the cache owner is home.

Please note that the accuracy of my GPS is in question on this cache, so if you find it and the coordinates are very far off please post yours.
