How Geocaching Works
Cache is available in winter and may not be winter friendly. Not sure if forest road is plowed but could be able to walk in. You are looking for a small camo taped container. Cache is place in state forest, a parks sticker is needed while parked on gravel road. If you park on Mill Rd and walk in no sticker is needed. Please replace cache exactly as you found it.
While sitting thinking of what to call this one my alert on my calendar went off. June 27 is my nephew’s 13th birthday. There whole family are big Geocacher's and are the ones that got us started in geocaching. Although he has a lot of sayings like “how many more”, “how much farther”, and my favorite “can we call it” I really hope that he enjoys going out and looking for this one. For the sake of not embarrassing him I will just let you guess what there caching name is and if by some chance you run into them in the woods please wish him a happy birthday. The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Jason Quast- Assistant Forest Superintendent Kettle Moraine State Forest Northern unit of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: http://www.wi-geocaching.com/hiding
