Thanks to Raymond E, whose cache, Crows Nest porthole, inspired this lovely poem!
Cache is in high traffic area, so I do hope it survives!
When hunting this cache, you must time it well
For if you don’t, you’ll be hit by a swell
Look to the moon (it’s the boss of the sea)
Or else you’ll become, as wet as can be
Once over the bridge, you are in Neptune’s Court
Don’t quit now, or all is for nought
Tread your way carefully, to King Neptune’s throne
And please don’t be obvious, you might not be alone
Sit down on his chair (facing the beach)
And into a crack on the right you must reach
For pickpockets and pianists, this is an easy trick
But if you’ve large hands you could try use a stick
Remove the three stones, blocking the way
And the treasure you’ve found, Hip Hip and Hooray!
If a trade-in you bring, make sure it is small
The size of a marble, or it won’t fit at all
But the real treasure lies, not in the trove
But in the breathtaking view, out over the cove!
